Our client is one of the world's leading business intelligence, academic publishing, knowledge and events businesses, creating unique content and connectivity for customers all over the world. THE ROLE
As the Head of Marketing of this small team, you will manage a Marketing exec. and an Automation specialist. You will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy of a portfolio of 14 global B2B tech events (£5-50k budgets). There will be the opportunity to travel approx. 4-6 times per year across Europe and America.Your job will be to plan, budget these events alongside the operations and production team ensuring that they are reaching the widest possible audience. You will research new areas to target and explore new channels/content to maximise their success. Using your tracking and reporting skills you will identify hot spots, click through rates etc. to ensure that the events are hitting ROI.This role also focuses on the marketing strategy of data acquisition (working with the in-house data team) and audience segmentation.
To be considered for this role you must have had some previous experience of line management or team leadership. You will also be digitally and commercially savvy. A passion and interest in tech is important as is a go-getting attitude.This would suit someone who is ambitious and perhaps at Marketing Manager level ready for the next step up in their career at a global company.
