Strategic Research and Insights Lead

The Strategic Research & Insights Lead reports into the Head of Strategic Research and Insight. Your chief responsibilities will be to identify business opportunities by finding new consumer and customer needs. By developing a segmentation strategy you will identify and position improved brand positioning for growth.
The Strategic Research & Insights Lead will also support product, service and communications development with appropriate research and insight, from initial idea generation right through to market launch. In order to succeed its essential you can identify and communicate key consumer and cultural trends gaining the necessary cross functional buy in to deliver.
The role reports into the Head of Strategic Research and Insight, working as part of a team of 3 to deliver:
- Consumer and cultural trends
- Segmentation for business planning purposes
- Customer community research and insight
- Concept testing/business case sizing
- Creative evaluation/development research – Communications, brand and positioning
- Supporting additional ad hoc research requirements
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- General Education preferable University Degree
- High School / College
- Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others
- Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited time frames
