Recruitment Sales Director, SW London  -  Circa. £55k+Commission + Private Healthcare

Our client is seeking a Sales Director to join the Recruitment Division of this global media group. The Recruitment Division has 10 vertical market job sites in a wide ranging portfolio.

The successful candidate will have commercial responsibility for digital recruitment sales, across an exciting portfolio of leading job sites and their affiliated content sites.

As the Recruitment Sales Director, you are expected to lead, motivate and inspire a 20-strong team to maximise digital revenue opportunities. You will also be responsible for generating new revenue ideas - specifically using audience data to offer better, more targeted recruitment campaigns. A strong understanding of the markets in which the job sites serve is imperative to planning, forecasting and strengthening the brand and sales proposition. 

The Recruitment Division is one of the largest sales and marketing teams within the Group. It is a division that prides itself on commercial success, sales excellence, innovation and delivering an outstanding service to its clients.

You will be responsible for:

●      Exceeding budgeted revenue targets

●      Motivating a large and diverse sales team to hit monthly and quarterly targets

●      Implementing best sales practice across your portfolio, using your experience to drive yields and revenues, improve reporting and effective analysis of markets

●      Forecasting of monthly, quarterly and annual revenues

●      New product and revenue development ideas surrounding data, content, lead generation, display and events

●      People management - including recruitment, training and development

●      Creating the most effective group structure for selling recruitment advertising to different client groups

●      Setting annual budgets for your brands in conjunction with the Head of UK Recruitment

●      Gaining competitive advantage and brand recognition

●      Taking a leading role in sales to major/key clients

●      Contributing to the overall management of the Recruitment division

●      Managing and developing relationships with external suppliers

●      Overseeing the management of recruitment staff appraisals and salary reviews

●      Attending industry events and meetings as necessary

To succeed in this role you will:

●      Demonstrate an excellent understanding and proven experience in recruitment advertising at a senior level including the marketing process

●      Possess strong digital sales skills

●      Be well-organised and meticulous in planning, forecasting and sales reporting

●      Identify new opportunities and implement quickly and effectively

●      Take a ‘big picture' view of the recruitment market, analyse trends and manage change where necessary, and use this knowledge to benefit the wider team

●      Manage and lead multiple teams - at all levels - across a number of markets

●      Lead from the front and play a prominent role with clients

●      Be capable of strategic thinking and focused on achieving the business objectives

●      Be resilient and able to think through the challenges of a market that is constantly evolving and at times challenging

●      Be reliable and show good attention to detail

●      Have strong presentation skills

●      Have experience of sales planning, implementation and execution

●      Be able to report to senior management
