This award-winning B2B agency based in the heart of the beautiful Surrey countryside is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Director to oversee a number of B2B accounts.

You will be part of an outstanding agency with a talented and ambitious family of creative and strategic people.

This key role is to:

  • Support the Business Director heading up the group and to assist them in managing senior client relationships on a strategic level
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients to ensure there is continual delivery and improvement
  • Lead the development of strategic insight and direction across comprehensive projects, completed to the client’s satisfaction
  • Develop the account, develop new opportunities and exceed financial targets
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing activity and updates plans in line with new recommendations and/or changing conditions
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the company as well as being responsible for developing, running and participating in strategic new business pitches.
  • Ensure the team is constantly pushing for new ideas, and building their skills to support this. You must be able to inspire creative and strategic thinking

You will be responsible for managing a range of client relationships. You will need to be flexible enough to operate at senior levels as well as at more operational levels.  

You will be accountable for hitting agreed revenue and commercial targets.  There are also potential business development opportunities and it will be expected that you will help deliver to an agreed growth target.

Key Criteria:

  • You must be a strategic thinker, strong leader and have demonstrated success at forming cemented and long-term client partnerships.
  • You must also have a thorough understanding of the role B2B marketing can play in achieving business success. 
  • You must able to understand your Client’s business as well as marketing solutions in order to recommend the best solutions
  • Proven strengths in strategic, creative and financial judgement
  • B2B Experience across multiple industries and accounts
  • Presentation skills demonstrated at an industry level
  • Experience of leading and winning new business
  • Proven ability to increase business performance
