There is currently a great opportunity for an inspirational Sales Manager to lead the Agency and Recruitment Consultancy team on the Job board side of the business.

They currently have over 1.2 million jobseekers visit them every month, and connect them with thousands of jobs every day.

They have ambitious plans for growth; their aim is to disrupt the jobs market. They are investing to achieve these goals and are updating their existing jobs platform to the market leading jobs board software provider, offering their jobseekers a best-in-class user experience and their advertisers a wealth of new inventory to help them find their perfect candidate. You will be joining them at a very exciting time, a pivotal moment on their journey that opens up many new opportunities for them to capitalise on.

The Opportunity

You will be challenged to lead your agency and consultancy team to achieve their ambitious growth targets.  You will train, mentor and coach a team of sales professionals at varying levels of seniority, ensuring that they retain and grow their existing client base, and supplement this by winning new business in their core sectors.

You will lead from the front; you’ll frequently get to attend meetings and conduct on the job coaching with your team to pass on your commercial skills and experience.  You will get the opportunity to work with some of the largest recruitment advertising agencies and recruitment consultancies in the industry.

You will work with the Head of Major Accounts and the Key Account Sales Manager to define the strategy for the team, and produce a comprehensive sales plan that you will execute to help achieve success.

You will be leading a newly formed team selling a significantly improved jobs proposition, at one of the most well-known tech brands in the UK – the opportunities are endless.

What we’re looking for


This is a hugely important role and they will be expecting great things of you. To be a success in this role you will display the following:

  • Experience managing high performing commercial teams
  • The skill to coach, mentor, train and motivate a diverse sales team
  • Proven success in leading teams to hit targets
  • The ability to create and deliver on sales strategy
  • An in-depth understanding of the recruitment market

On top of this if you possess some or all of the things detailed below it will put you in good stead:

  • Experience selling the Madgex platform, and an understanding of the inventory it offers
  • A black book of contacts within the recruitment advertising agency sector
  • Understanding of the recruitment consultancy marketplace

This role commands a very competitive salary and OTE, as well as a great pension scheme and additional benefits including a health cashback scheme, free yoga and massages, a number of parties throughout the year and free food and drink in the office. You’ll start with 25 days holiday and this will increase to 26 after 2 years’ service, then continue to increase every year from then until you reach 29 days.
