What’s the Creative Agency like for the Account Manager?

The first is a beauty brand that is looking to re-position itself and find a new audience among millennials.  The second is a lifestyle account that also wants to broaden its appeal among millennials.  The accounts are all about being up to the minute with pop culture and spotting future trends and research involves hanging out at nighclubs and bars as opposed to sitting in a fusty room with a clipboard!  Thanks to their demanding, changeable audience, the accounts are edgy, creative and quirky.

The agency attracts the hungrier types and the Account Manager will have a lot of headroom in an agency that is non-hierarchical.   Career progression is swifter here than in other agencies and the role would suit an ambitious Account Manager who is not getting the best out of where they are at the moment and who is keen to progress.
