Exciting and unique opportunity to join a TV & digital media business who are seeking an ambitious and driven product manager to continue innovation around their well known product- both for users and advertisers.

This is a key role within the Digital team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing the owned and operated digital products, plus their app which is currently available on multiple platforms

THE COMPANY:

Huge portfolio of much loved TV channels alongside a suite of digital products. They have an incredibly talented in-house production team that directly creates content for their channels and network of digital platforms (incl. social media and syndicated) as well as for their many client partnerships!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Product Manager reports into the Operations Director and is responsible for the cross platform product portfolio, leading a team of two (Operations Executive and Developer) as well as multiple stakeholders including TV App Agency (outsourced development), Brightcove (streaming platform), YoSpace (DAI and live streaming) and SpotX (primary ad server).

  • Identify areas of competitive differentiation and innovation
  • Create business cases and validate key hypotheses for new product ideas, including writing detailed product specifications
  • Manage the product development cycle from concept to launch and beyond
  • Interact with internal stakeholders and external clients on a regular basis
  • Define and measure success metrics for the product
  • Drive strategic commercial decisions by integrating user research and market analysis into the product roadmap

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strategic thinker with a strong blend of technical, analytical, project management, and communication skills
  • Can work cross-functionally across the company on new products and enhancements
  • Strong communication skills with business and technical teams
  • Experienced in building advertising, data and/or analytics focused products that are consumer facing
  • Experience working with developers, technical architects / designers
  • Track record of growing a portfolio of digital products
  • Experience working in the scrum / agile development methodology
