You will be working for the UK's market leading Weddings website which reaches 1.3million unique users every month.  It delivers an end-to-end planning service to brides and grooms-to-be. Over 70% of its revenues on come from the highly successful Venue & Supplier listings. They are looking for a senior sales executive to sell these listings subscriptions. A Venue listing allows their clients to reach a huge number of brides-to-be resulting in a high levels of referrals. They have full access to a dedicated admin section, allowing the Venue to keep track of visitors to the listing, track leads, brochure requests and website click throughs.

You will be an important part of a passionate advertising and subscriptions team responsible for the continued growth and success of the brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to target and develop the Venues listing market
  • Responsible for acquiring new subscriptions
  • Generate and source new leads
  • Work with the ad sales team to create and sell packages across their weddings portfolio
  • Regular reporting and forecasting of financial performance back to the Sales Manager
  • Hit revenue targets whilst developing and implementing plans to reach new customers
  • Deep understanding, analysis and continuous monitoring of competitor set and client base
  • Work closely with the sales team on new commercial opportunities
  • Create sales collateral and presentation material to produce best of breed marketing materials for the weddings market
  • Work with other sales staff to share good practice, new ideas and new commercial solutions
  • Accurate personal pipeline reporting & forecasting

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding sales, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Superb communication skills
  • Experience of telephone sales environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to think both strategically and laterally to deliver commercial targets
  • Comprehensive digital sector knowledge
  • A strong team player with a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales revenues
