European - Senior Innovation Insight Manager | Global drinks brand
We're looking for a senior innovation insight manage to join a multibillion dollar global drinks brand.
A global drinks giant who have some 200 plus brands operating in 180 countries globally. Their creative and innovative approach to marketing is reflected in the number of awards they have won for brand communication and innovation. They have an industry recognised track record of thought leadership, beyond functional research expertise, strongly influencing, brand building, marketing and strategy.
The senior innovation insight manager will be joining a highly efficient and next generation insight & innovation function. You'll work on big meaty innovation projects, aimed at developing into whitespaces, developing new brands or expanding into new categories. You'll have to create insight using cutting edge and cultural understanding techniques (increasingly using big data too) coupled with clear direction for the business with the required balance between rigour and pace. You'll be required to play an active role into the development of the innovation culture across brand, innovation and planning teams. You'll be part of the European innovation leadership team and you'll be involved in thought leadership in all things innovation, you'll have direct impact into the innovation offer across Europe.
10 years' + experience ideally in a client-side organisation but they're open to candidates with only innovation / insight agency experience
Strong technical research skills including quantitative and qualitative, both ad hoc and continuous.
A proven track record working on commercially successful innovation projects - e.g. developing new brands / products based on rich consumer insight
Experience in newer more innovative techniques to uncover insight a big bonus
Multinational and multicultural experience - knowledge of popular culture across Europe
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills are paramount. Someone that can navigate through a complex matrix structure is essential.
Ability to turn insight into innovation concepts and innovation roadmaps.
