This leading medical technology company is seeking an experienced, strategic, multi-channel Head of marketing to join its team in an exciting high growth stage.

This role will include the full marketing mix; including strategic planning, budgeting and execution across sales and recruitment marketing and internal and external communications. This is an international role requiring an equal focus on global markets.

Key responsibilities include execution and oversight of:

  • Writing annual strategic marketing plans
  • Managing a small marketing team in both London and Sydney
  • Working closely with the executive management team especially within sales and recruitment
  • Managing a calendar of; exhibitions, trade shows, educational events and webinars
  • Online and print advertising
  • Social media strategy and execution
  • Marketing automation and lead generation activities to support sales and recruitment teams
  • Copy-writing including; campaigns, press releases, editorial submissions, website and articles
  • Press and industry relationship management
  • Vendor management (creative agencies including; PR, brand, graphic designers, digital marketing, SEM)
  • Performance reporting, including ROI analysis
  • Internal communications

Requirements

  • You will have extensive experience in marketing with a minimum of three years at a senior management level
  • You will have excellent written communication skills - writing will be a real strength. You will be highly capable of producing compelling and engaging copy
  • You will have a proven track record in raising the profile of organisations in which you have worked and driving leads to support sales
  • You will have excellent knowledge of digital marketing methods
  • You will be passionate about your work, have a high attention to detail and strive for excellence
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills
  • You will have a creative mind, be naturally inquisitive
  • An understanding of the healthcare market will be an advantage but is not essential
