Alpro is the European pioneer and market leader in drinks and food products (plant-based alternatives to yoghurt and cream, desserts, margarine) based on soya, and has extended its range with plant-based ice cream as well as drinks made of almonds, hazelnuts, cashew, rice, oats and coconut. Alpro products are known under the brands Alpro® and Provamel®.

Alpro, as a dedicated plant-based business unit of Danone with its head office in Ghent (Belgium), has more than 1,200 employees in Europe and has three production facilities in Belgium, France and the United Kingdom. THE ROLE

This senior leadership position will report directly to the Head of Marketing for the UK & Ireland based at our modern offices in Solihull. Key responsibilities will include shaping and implementing the Alpro brand, trade activation, communication strategy through a substantial budget, as well as inspiring and leading a talented team of Customer Marketing Managers.

THE CANDIDATE

You are a dynamic, highly driven and inspirational FMCG marketeer with an outstanding track record of shaping brand strategy that has achieved impact at point of purchase and builds brand equity. You have achieved this through consumer brand, category or shopper/customer marketing management experience across the FMCG manufacturing or agency landscape.

To succeed in this business-shaping role you will require well-honed skills in manipulating consumer insight and building compelling brand-led strategies together with first class internal and external influencing abilities.
