Insight Director

Role

The Insight Team is made up of talented people with a myriad of skills who work together to produce Word of Mouth monitoring reports and research that inform brand strategy.

The team plays leading role in integrating social media measurement within the wider digital measurement ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Management of the Insight Team
  • Ensure timely delivery of project assets to client services including reports and briefing documents 
  • Use correct style/brand guidelines across client materials including uniformity of tools and resources
  • Building and implement workflow and process in the team
  • Monitor work allocation and mode of working; mentoring and supporting the team members
  • Ensure data is used accurately and intelligently
  • Complete performance reviews and create clear roles and goals for team members
  • Manage the agency’s budget for tools and research resources
  • Devise, implement and manage training for the Insight Team and wider agency
  • Promote positivity and a motivated, entrepreneurial working culture
  • Development of research and measurement methodologies
  • Create and implement measurement frameworks for our work
  • Implement a comprehensive approach to data gathering, analysis and reporting
  • Research, sourcing and management of external tools and partners
  • Inspire the creative process with insight that sets our pitches and proposals apart
  • Develop and pitch the services offered by the Insight Team to the rest of the agency and to potential clients
  • Integrate traditional research methodologies within social media centric research, with particular references to offline process
  • Implement business-wide strategy that incorporates insights at the heart of what we do
  • Participate in industry events, creation of content for 1000heads’ social presences
  • Host client training and lead client presentations related to analytics and insight
  • Contribute to the internal vision and goals of the business by participating in projects that benefit 1000heads as a company

Key skills

  • 3-5 years research/analysis and client facing experience
  • Previous experience of management in a fast-paced environment 
  • Must have experience in an advertising agency with a creative background and understanding 
  • Expert knowledge of the online monitoring space/tools
  • The ability to analyse and resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Able to interact with people at all levels demonstrating tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity
  • Have a deep understanding of word of mouth, social media and their impact on brand
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills 
  • The ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Qualifications required

  • Degree or equivalent experience
