Business Director / Client Lead - Sports Brand / Entertainment brand

We are looking for a talented Business Director / Client Lead to come and join this impressive creative agency based in Central London.

Earlier in 2017 they won a huge piece of business, and it's growing at a rapid pace, so much so they now want to bring in a Business Director / Client Lead to lead this account. The agency run everything for this brand - media, CRM, direct, digital, social and content, brand strategy and advertising. CRM is playing a big part of the role, so we're looking for a Business Director / Client Lead who has a truly integrated background. The Business Director / Client Lead will work alongside the CRM planning director, CSO, Creative Directors, head of delivery and MD to oversee this business, and you'll have a team of 11 account handlers supporting you. 

The Business Director / Client Lead will have 3 Account Directors, 2 across the creative part of the business and 1 across CRM, and we're looking for a Business Director / Client Lead who is comfortable working across both brands and activation - the biggest part of activation being CRM. 

Ideally you'll be a Business Director / Client Lead who has worked at both brand led creative and also direct / CRM agencies, and you'll be comfortable working with data planners and analysts and the CRM planning director. We're looking for a Business Director / Client Lead who can talk brand and strategy, and the develop the big creative ideas with the creative teams, but also someone who gets executional and direct led comms work too. 

A lot of the work is now delivered across digital too, so the Business Director / Client Lead must have very strong digital experience. 

We are asking for a lot, but this is how the account is built up, and the agency has all these skills under one roof, they're looking for a Business Director / Client Lead who can come in and lead this account. 

As a Business Director / Client Lead you'll have great exposure in this agency and there's a big change that this piece of business will one day become the agency's largest client. Therefore the Business Director / Client Lead coming in must be entrepreneurial, have an eye for growth, lots of leadership and gravitas and you'll be highly commercial. We're looking for a Business Director / Client Lead who can demonstrate this in abundance. 

The brand itself is a sports brand in the entertainment space, and the Business Director / Client Lead will work across a wide range of comms channels to attract new consumers, delivering acquisition CRM activity, and also big brand led comms work to create brand awareness. 

This is a great role for the right Business Director / Client Lead who has the right experience, a real chance for a Business Director / Client Lead to influence and make a big impact on this huge account. Also, as it's a relatively new piece of business the Business Director / Client Lead coming into the agency can influence across processes and structure and how to lead this client.
