Business Development Manager (Retail / FMCG)
Our client, is the fastest growing most exciting shopping marketing agency in the UK. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to take the lead in heading up the new business arm of one of their key agencies.
The Business Development Team’s responsibility is to seek out relevant FMCG brands, making initial contact with the relevant prospect, through to building relationships, gaining buy-in from the brand and working with the team in negotiating the commercial agreement, leading to a partnership between the brand and this agency.
You will define the Business Development process and successfully implement across the agency. This will include leading the generation of new clients, optimising pitch materials, setting up the right commercial ways of working and successfully transitioning new clients into their clients team. You will create and develop a strategy to ensure the agency is able to proactively source relevant shopper marketing opportunities with a broad range of FMCG brands.
It is likely you will have strong relationships with FMCG brands but failing that a track record in developing new business partnerships from scratch.
