A top brand agency / consultancy is looking for an experienced Brand Strategy Director to guide, support and inspire clients, helping them to define what their brands stands for and delivering bold and effective brand solutions.
As a Strategy Director you will lead innovative and insightful strategy projects for new and existing clients and to build strong senior level relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to CEO’s, developing and advising on brand strategy.
Working closely with the directors, as Strategy Director you will actively participate in winning and delivering client work, identifying avenues to develop and grow client’s accounts. You will be a natural networker with the ability to maintain client relationships beyond end of projects.
The Brand Strategy Director will be the strategic lead on projects, planning and preparing strategy proposals, identifying scope, objectives and deliverables, and work closely with the creatives and project teams from brief to completion.
Your brand strategy expertise should include recent /current experience from the world of branding consultancy / brand agency to include B2C and B2B brand strategy.
You must be capable of sustaining strong high level relationships, able to influence, guide and advise top tier major clients. With your flair and expertise for strategic thinking, you will bring new perspectives to brand strategy. You will need tip-top writing skills, a lively eclectic mind and a strategic sense of how brands grow. And you’ll have to be able to communicate it all to clients with clarity, keeping everything credible, clear and exciting.
We need a Brand Strategy Director that is smart and passionate, totally switched-on and plugged into brands with strong leadership skills. You will be good at uncovering what is beneath the surface of organisations and able to build rich, sound and compelling branding solutions. You should be great at planning work, running internal teams and workshops and at building strong relationships with clients.
Your skills / background
- 5-8+ years experience to include several years working within a recognised brand consultancy / brand agency
- Proven experience of developing winning brand positions for major clients
- Strong analytical skills, able to spot genuine insights and to know how to capitalise on them
- Gravitas, intellect and dynamic, entrepreneurial spirit
