Award-winning, global communications agency based just off Oxford Street seeks an Account Director to work on an established, integrated account.

The Account Director Role

Reporting into a Business Director, as Account Director you will get the opportunity to create comms across a range of channels and be the guardian of truly integrated high profile campaigns.

The Account Director will be supported by an Account Manager and Account Executive.

You will used to working on through the line client briefs, delivering a seamless through the line customer experience from TV, digital through to CRM, working closely with digital to make sure that the full customer eco-system is considered.

You’re creatively ambitious and always looking for opportunities that go well beyond the brief, personally championing work from brief right through to case study. You recognize and nurture great ideas but aren’t afraid to challenge mediocre ones with the creative department. You lead by example – encouraging colleagues to strive for greater creativity and insight.

Working with the Business Director, you will contribute to the development of marketing plans for your client and can translate these into effective implementation plans alongside your Project Manager and Project Director. Together you are responsible for the successful delivery of the agency’s activity. You’re passionate about results.

The Account

The client is facing challenging times and as a result this account is fast paced, with constant changes and you must be someone who is used to rising to this kind of challenge. Ideally you will have come from a similar background, working on a fast paced high functioning retail account.

You must be able to think ahead, anticipate needs, plan accordingly and react quickly.

Although the brand recently relaunched with a new tone of voice and vision, moving the company from a traditional supplier to an exciting and forward thinking brand, the main focus of your job will be managing the client teams to successfully help the business achieve its vision.

There is a huge amount in the pipeline so this will be a very active role from the start and the chance to have a huge impact in the development of the brand and its differentiation in the sector.

Account Director – Experience Required

The agency are looking for an Account Director with integrated knowledge and preferably with TV/broadcast experience, but that isn’t essential

What they really require is a solid integrated, smart Account Director who can lead strategic conversations in acquisition and retention across all platforms - predominantly experience with the ‘hard working channels’ - digital display, search, content, PPC, email, VOD, press, OOH/DOOh etc – all targeted and retargeted.

They don’t currently produce any offline DM for the client or undertake its implementation; that is all done internally.

The agency do need someone who is direct marketing trained and CRM minded however to help produce hard working campaigns that produce results.

The Account Director therefore needs to know data, performance, analytics and targeting, segmentation profiling and implementing it across the channels mentioned above.
