SEO Senior Partnerships Manager - Serious and Organised Crime Campaigns

Salary Range: £39,333 – 45,232

2 Marsham Street, London

Are you a senior communicator with strong partnership experience?  Would you love to work as a senior communicator dealing with some of the most important issues facing the UK?

The Home Office is seeking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious Senior Partnerships Manager to join a lively and fast paced strategic communications team in the Research, Information and Communications Unit (RICU), which is a fast-paced and innovative part of the Home Office responsible for developing and delivering evidence based awareness and behaviour change communications campaigns in support of the Government’s CONTEST (the Counter Terrorism) Strategy and Serious and Organised Crime (SOC) Strategy.

This includes communications activity designed to prevent those vulnerable to extremism from being drawn into terrorist-related activity; to prevent individuals and professionals from being drawn into SOC and to protect people at risk of becoming the victims of SOC.

It has delivered campaigns to raise public awareness and change behaviour across a range of policy issues from modern slavery and to encouraging the public to be more cyber-secure.

Working alongside marketing and insight professionals, you will focus on developing and mobilising cross-sector multi-channel communications partnerships at a national and local level which will extend the reach, longevity and impact of campaign activity across the SOC campaign portfolio (initially focusing on the Cyber Aware campaign). The successful applicant will be experienced in leading on the development and activation of multi-channel partnership across a complex range of stakeholders, with a focus on the public and third sectors. With experience of working with a range of organisations of all sizes, you will be able to drive the volume and value of the partnership network and be able to work with competing priorities. The partnership network for RICU’s SOC campaigns has more than tripled in the past year, so it is an exciting time of growth and a lot of opportunity to shape the future direction of how to strategically work with partner organisations to promote core messages.

The Home Office offers excellent career development prospects, competitive pension and benefits arrangements, and extensive professional support networks. Exactly as you would expect from a large, progressive employer like the Civil Service.

The Home Office is dedicated to promoting equality, fairness and respect. We will create a working environment where diversity is recognised, valued and celebrated.

For further information on the role please contact head of Partner Networks for Serious and Organised Crime campaigns, Jennifer Sheils jennifer.sheils@homeoffice.x.gsi.gov.uk

Closing date: 9th February 2018.
