Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Financial Services

Sourcing candidates for predominantly fintech, marketing and financial services roles, you will work closely with, provide support to and learn from the Head of department. This is an extremely important, varied and busy role which includes researching, identifying and contacting suitable candidates, developing relationships with both candidates and clients, ensuring they get a great service. The role has come about due to the success of this division and recent client wins - so you will be joining a great team, with lots of opportunity for development, and sharing in the rewards of its continued success.
- Identifying, researching and contacting candidates for recruitment projects
- Developing and managing candidate relationships, providing initial contact
- Coordinating and confirming interviews and meetings
- Administration tasks relating to the CRM system
- Posting and monitoring ads on jobsites and company website
- Develop sector knowledge
- Maintaining records
- Shadowing the Head of department
- Handling department enquiries
- Social media support
We are looking for a self-starter who is interested in current affairs and business news with proven research, strategy and interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly develop an understanding of different business sectors, in particular the exciting and ever progressing world of fintech and financial services. Coupled with strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills you will be social media savvy, have great written and spoken communication skills and that all important can-do attitude. You will be keen to show potential to grow and develop within the sector. We are a small office where everyone works as part of a team so a warm, outgoing and flexible attitude is as important as ability.
