STRATEGY DIRECTOR - BRAND AGENCY
Leading brand consultancy with a global reach is looking for an ambitious Strategy Director to guide, support and inspire clients.
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Strategy Director, an inspiring natural leader and collaborator with outstanding analysis and communication skills that can help develop and drive insightful and convincing strategic solutions for a diverse mix of global clients.
You will have significant, proven practical experience in brand strategy, across multi disciplines of brand strategy such as service design and experience, culture and engagement, brand creation, reinvention and positioning.
You will also have the gravitas to command attention at a senior client level, as well as being able to inspire and energise creative expression in the team. You will need to be an effective, intellectually capable team player, with the agility to think on your feet, be flexible and collaborative.
At this level, your core skills and sector experience will be varied. Your brand strategy expertise should include experience from the world of brand agency / consultancy, and you most likely have rich experience of creating, reinventing and positioning brands.
You are likely to be a high flyer with a wide range of skills to help you manage client situations, conceive the right answer and help it come to life in the context of a client organisation.
- Persuasive in all situations, able to help clients take risks, an intuitive understanding of clients, what they want and need
- Inspiring and nurturing in your team, alongside both clients and colleagues
- Curious with a strong point of view, offering an interesting perspective, curious about everything, with a healthy interest in people, trends, culture, technology and what’s going on in the world
- Confident, able to work independently, and aware of when to bring the right people in, and when to collaborate
- Rigorous with a keen eye for quality and finessing the work
The working style is highly collaborative and non-hierarchical, working with original thinkers, excellent relationship builders and energised pragmatists. You should be a keen team player, you’ll know how to get the best out of people, how to get the various resources working well together, and how to create opportunities for all team members to stretch their skills.
We are looking for an intellectually smart brand strategist: we need to see at least 6-8 years of working in brand strategy, evidence of entrepreneurial flair, a creative and inspired thinker. Oh, and someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously and has a fun side too!
