PR and External Affairs Manager - Cheshire - £35,000 - £40,000

We are working closely with a leading North West business, who specialise in Corporate and Consumer advice. As part of a complete business overhaul, they are looking for an experienced PR and Communications professional to support all customer acquisition and retention activity, assist in building a strong brand and communicate effectively in the best interest of customers and corporate partners. This role will be ideal for someone who has a strong experience of dealing with Marketing on both a B2B and B2C level.

PR and External Affairs Manager - Key responsibilities

*Lead the definition and delivery of the PR and written content strategy and roadmap, working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
*Champion PR and written content throughout the business, monitoring all written communications to external parties, ensuring that all stakeholders understand the benefits.
*Measure and report performance of all PR related activity and assess against agreed goals (ROI and KPIs) making recommendations for subsequent actions and budgets.
*Lead the written brand style, establishing tone of voice and language guidelines for clear, consistent communications.
*Own any PR or copywriting agency relationships, ensuring service quality and value for money in all supplier engagements
*Manage all day-to-day communication relationships.
*Own the day-to-day management of the PR budget, ensuring all expenditure is managed in accordance with the agreed structure
*Work with the Board and the HR team in the creation of communications.

PR and External Affairs Manager - Profile

*Experienced PR and Communications professional comfortable working within large, multi-layered organisations.
*Strong experience managing complex communications processes.
*Strong experience communicating with multiple, diverse stakeholder groups.
*Ability to manage all third-party and agency relationships.
*Strong project management and organisation skills and ability to lead internal and external resources.
*Experienced marketing professional able to work effectively across multiple areas of business.
*Tenacious, resilient and determined, closely aligned with the values of the business.

Salary £35,000 - £40,000 + benefits.
