We act as both an ambassador for the sector and as a turnkey with the unfailing mission to bring closer together key organisations, businesses, key influencers, councils, committees and groups for the collective benefit, reputation and influence of the sector as a whole. We are starting to build a network of communications professionals from across the creative industries to act as working group and give even greater clout and reach to everyone's own campaigns.

We are looking for an outgoing, driven, committed and enthusiastic Senior Account Manager with exceptional public relations experience to join the team as a full-time employee. This is an opportunity for a passionate and ambitious professional to make their mark, become a leadership figure in the business and help in keeping a firm hand on the tiller as we grow.

An extensive live 'black book' of media contacts as well as proven and thorough understanding of the UK media, PR strategy and methodology is essential.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As well as typical senior account manager duties including client account management and management of junior team members, this team member will have a heavy focus on our media relations work and in securing top quality coverage for our clients on an ongoing basis.
This role will also have a secondary purpose to further develop a system whereby each and everyone on the team is continually developing their media relations experience, best practice and journalist contacts. A large proportion of their time will be spent on media engagement and management of our media relations system.

KEY SKILLS

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in an in-house or agency PR role, ideally relating or connected to the sectors outlined above.

They should also be:
* Experienced communications practitioner across multiple channels
* An excellent verbal and written communicator.
* A self-starter dedicated to growth and results
* Energetic, inspiring and self-motivated team player.
* Patient and committed when managing/mentoring junior team members
* Extremely well organised with a great attention to detail.
* Resourceful, intuitive and inventive problem solver.
* A positive attitude with a sense of humour.
* Willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
