Editorial Assistant / Copywriter

An Editorial Assistant / Copywriter is needed to join a global consulting firm that is renowned for delivering tangible, high-impact results for clients. Based near Buckingham Palace, expect an exciting and varied writing role producing editorial marketing content whilst supporting UK PR activities.

They are now seeking an Editorial Assistant / Copywriter with a flair for creating engaging copy to join their passionate team.

Joining as the Editorial Assistant / Copywriter you will play a key role in helping to define the key messages and customer stories that form the backbone of their content marketing strategy. Whether you are researching, drafting and editing thought leadership papers; creating compelling content; editing written materials for external publications and other marketing uses (digital, print, social media, email and events); placing by-lined articles; handling and responding to press enquires; monitoring and tracking press coverage or managing relationships with key national and trade titles, it will be your excellent writing and editing skills that help deliver outstanding results.

To qualify. You should be an Editorial Assistant / Copywriter / Marketing Content Executive / Creative Copywriter / Content Executive or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience in a similar Editorial / Copywriting role preferably in professional services or B2B organisation;
  • You are a rigorous researcher, highly organised and team orientated;
  • You are creative with a fantastic eye for detail;
  • Skills in using and administering social media tools;
  • Effective time-management skills - you must be able to prioritise and meet deadlines;
  • A detail-oriented mentality;
  • Degree-level education in marketing or related field preferred.
