Account Director opening at a fresh thinking, dynamic and energetic agency full of inspiring, talented and supportive people. Our client base ranges from cars to beer to chocolate to FMCG across which we deliver a stimulating mix of direct, social, digital and integrated comms. In the past two years we have seen significant organic growth, as well as new business.

The Accounts:

We’ve been working with this drinks client for over 4 years now, delivering BTL, shopper, digital, promotional and experiential marketing campaigns, across the On and Off trade. Some of our campaigns include activating their famous sporting event sponsorship, building an online ecommerce store, creating a experiential brand world for customer sell ins and putting 100,000s Chalices into consumers hands, all of which have set the bar high for all our campaigns moving forwards.

The account is split evenly across the on and off trade with a focus on offline channels (70%) but with a clear grounding (and a future ambition) in how digital (30%) can help support or drive trade activations/e-commerce plans.

The Role:

We’re looking for a strong, passionate Account Director to help lead this Activation team and drive this piece of business forward. There is so much opportunity on this account that the role will suit someone who really enjoys business development.

The candidate needs to have strong integrated activation experience under their belt. Being able to confidently talk the clients’ language is a must.

They should be a great team player, have the ability and passion to drive campaigns forward and create excellent work, be exceptionally well organised and resourceful and have excellent attention to detail. They will be pivotal in the day-to-day client relationship and thus should demonstrate the ability to quickly gain the respect and confidence of both clients and agency staff. They will be responsible for helping to develop and manage high profile campaigns so should have a good eye for creative.

The right person will relish the opportunity to represent us in front of large audiences, and be confident in presenting, discussing and evolving our work in such environments.

All candidates should be keen to be part of a close-knit team, and equally happy to deliver projects as to shape them.

Core Skills / Experience:

  • Proven record at AD level
  • Drinks industry experience – ideal but not a pre-requisite
  • Off-Trade shopper marketing experience - ideal but not a pre-requisite
  • Integrated campaign experience
  • FMCG experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good written / verbal communication skills

  • Confident managing third parties / suppliers
  • Excellent time management / experience of managing multiple projects at the same time
