German Speaking Social Media & Content Manager - The Company

They now have a fantastic opportunity for a German Social Media & Community Manager to join their rapidly expanding team.

German Speaking Social Media & Content Manager - The Role

As the Social Media & Content Manager for their German speaking territories, you'll play a key role in the Content Team, creating compelling stories around products, designers, customer's homes to name but a few. You'll be the voice of the brand across their social channels and will be bursting with ideas about how they can editorialise their brand for the German market to connect with both current and potential customers. You've impeccable grammar, a keen eye for detail, and intuitively understand how to make their distinctive tone of voice work for the German market.


Editorial Content
Responsible for the development of global and country-specific content in line with their content pillars, global content calendar and country marketing requirements
Generate ideas for, as well as write, translate and commission inspiring articles within ToV and brand guidelines (strategically to maximise visibility, network, traffic and social growth)
Work with the Acquisition team on SEO improvements to improve ranking and traffic to site
Analyse and report content results using Google Analytics, and adjust content produced according to these learnings
Ensure all content commissioned and produced by external providers adheres to brand guidelines.

Social Media
Be the voice of the brand across all social media platforms in your country and be a contributor to global social platforms and campaigns
Leverage global content and supplement with country specific activities
Engage influencers through social dialogue and design conversations
Use tactics and social strategy set by the global team to increase likes, followers, conversations and overall engagement
Following the global content plan, update your key social comms weekly in the content calendar and ensure all platforms are populated with relevant comms messages
Track social media analytics and use to build on successes and learnings
Support Paid Social team with copy for marketing activity on social
Advise CS social team for your country and coach on best practice and social ToV
Create content around ad hoc social, content and influencer opportunities such as showroom events.

Marketing communications
Create copy for all newsletters for your country, generate newsletter content ideas
Continuously improve and evolve newsletter performance taking into account reporting from the marketing team as well as current product releases and campaigns
Work with the German Brand Manager and agencies on on and offline campaigns and partnerships to provide copy and content direction where necessary. Such as press ads, billboards, catalogues, SEM.

German Speaking Social Media & Content Manager - Key Skills

A minimum of three years experience in a copywriting or content creation role either on a brand, at an agency or on a publication
You should be an active social media user, with experience creating content for social platforms in a professional context
Immaculate written German, with an eye for detail, perfect grammar and an innate understanding of what makes MADE's tone of voice unique
Experience working with Google Analytics to analyse content-related data preferable
Creative mindset - someone excited about content and how it can be executed
Experience producing 360 degree content for cross-platform publication and the ability to see content projects through from ideation to publication, driving this process forward yourself
Happy working in a fast-paced environment - there are lots of opportunities for creative projects if deadlines are met.
