We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading live entertainment marketing agency who are looking for a highly talented Creative Director to lead, support and inspire their high-performing creative team.
This agency pioneered brand driven thinking for the world of arts marketing and have built a strong reputation for creating ground-breaking, multi-faceted campaigns for clients in this sector. It’s an exciting time to be joining the agency as they go from strength to strength, bolstering their digital offering and embarking on an international new business drive.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in creating concepts, campaigns and brands from inception and must be confident leading the team to deliver high quality and impactful visual work across all communication channels. The Creative Director sets project priorities and deliverables, reviews and refines creative work and ultimately ensures that all studio output is appropriate creatively and commercially, being aligned with client objectives.
Experience working on campaigns with a more abstract and cultural aesthetic is really key for this role so someone who can demonstrate high-quality work in theatre, film, exhibitions, music, or publishing would be a particularly good fit. Providing guidance and direction to the Studio this person will be an active contributor to the agency’s culture and should be able to quickly build relationships across the business to ensure creative and, in turn, commercial success.
The ideal candidate:
We’re looking for a Creative Director with a strong visual/Art Direction background.
A natural leader with exceptional creative judgement who can inspire, encourage and empower an established, multi-disciplined team of art directors, copywriters, designers, digital designers and photographers, ultimately driving their success and achievements.
Previous experience directing integrated campaigns from concept generation and pitching stages through to completion and creative quality control.
A good strategic thinker who can work closely with the client services team and senior stakeholders to determine and develop clear and effective campaign plans.
Outstanding communication skills. We’re looking for a confident senior who can articulate creative solutions, be convincing and influential at client-facing level and bring everyone involved along with them.
Strong digital expertise. Proficient and knowledgeable in digital technologies, apps, mobile platforms, responsive design and digital campaigns.
