Head of Internal Communications
We're in the process of supporting one of the fastest growing financial services brands in the UK, who have a key focus in credit cards and payments. The business is collaborative, dynamic and fast growing - in the last three years alone, they've grown from 50 people to nearly 300, outgrown 2 offices - and they have ambitions to float in the next few years.
In response to their continued growth, the business is looking to hire their first Head of Internal Communications, who'll report directly in to ExCo.
The role-holder will be accountable for designing and delivering the internal communication strategy across the organisation, with responsibility for a communications strategy which connects colleagues with the company vision, goals and all associated programmes of activity.
The role works with ExCo, and other senior managers, to co-ordinate a vision for colleagues which is compelling and exciting and helps them to understand the company's strategy, keeping colleagues informed of major developments and progress on that journey both in terms of our longer term ambitions and our near term deliverables.
This role would suit either a Senior Manager in a larger brand, looking to become a much bigger fish in a smaller (but rapidly expanding!) pond - or an experienced Head Of looking for a really exciting and dynamic new challenge. Because the role will start as stand alone, it's crucial that applicants are happy to deal with a degree of ambiguity and willing to roll up the sleeves and get stuck in!
