Are you an experienced campaign manager who thrives in a fast paced environment?

If so, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for a talented and confident communications professional to join our Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting edge marketing campaign within a hardworking and supportive communications environment.

You will be responsible for the day to day planning and delivery of the Government’s flagship THINK! road safety campaign. The campaign aims to save lives on our roads by addressing a range of road safety issues, including drink driving, use of mobile phones whilst driving and child road safety. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in other campaigns across the department.

You will work closely with creative and media planning agencies, and forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, policy officials and Ministers’ offices.

Your key responsibilities will include;

  • planning, delivering and evaluating a range of evidence based THINK! campaigns
  • providing expert marketing expertise and advice to wider DfT communications and policy colleagues
  • developing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver communications through trusted intermediaries
  • managing marketing budgets and driving value for money

About you

You are an experienced and creative campaign manager with a track record of planning and delivering successful marketing campaigns with enthusiasm and commitment. You have experience of covering media planning and buying, creative production and campaign evaluation. You are proactive and thrive in a fast paced environment and have the ability to quickly adapt to unexpected demands and deadlines. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, presenting your recommendations and proposals professionally and persuasively to key stakeholders. Having strong stakeholder management skills you are able to build and maintain trusted working relationships with agencies. You have a good understanding of digital channels and social media platforms.
