Design / Brand Strategist - London - £negotiable

Highly regarded brand, design and creative agency, based just South of the river, is looking for a Creative Strategist (Design / Brand Strategist) to join their planning team, working for high profile clients in varying sectors and across a range of touchpoints/channels (including advertising, packaging and retail).

You will be responsible for working across a variety of clients, categories, communication touchpoints and channels to create and articulate innovation strategy and design. You will contribute to brand, business and consumer insight gathering activities and processes. You will participate in creative sessions with clients and consumers; synthesising findings to create concepts built on key insights. You will utilise your design skills to make strategy and innovation presentations visually compelling and easily digestible, while driving projects forward strategically, collaborating with expert teams. You will continually build your knowledge, keeping informed of shifts in contemporary culture, while being brand aware and noticing strategy and innovation in action. You will have a strong interest in trends, following design, architecture, fashion, photography, food, cosmetics, retailing, consumer behaviour, advertising, sociology, mass culture, technology and media.

To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced planner/strategist (3+ years), ideally from an agency background, working on contemporary, relevant, consumer-facing campaigns. You will have a passion for design, research and insights, with an instinctive creative ability - you will have worked as a designer within your career. You will understand design visualization processes and terminology, and have experience communicating strategies through written word. You will have had exposure to structural and packaging design, as well as branding and advertising. You will be able to analyse, problem solve and communicate to a high level across all parts of the business and with clients, working effectively within a multidisciplinary, collaborative team environment.
