Crucial communications start with you
At the Met’s Department of Media & Communications (DMC), we create high-profile, award-winning campaigns. They meet all kinds of communications challenges and truly impact the lives of Londoners. Join us in this fast-paced, ever-changing environment and you’ll be at the heart of our work, building exceptional skills and making a difference to millions.
Our team’s remit is to connect with communities across London. Together, we raise awareness, persuade people to take action and encourage changes in behaviour. As part of this team, you’ll be working alongside officers in a range of units to get the information for briefs. These could address issues as varied as Cyber Crime, Anti-Knife Crime, Scooter Theft and Burglary.
Working in a small, high-performing team, you’ll help make vital and highly visible campaigns happen. It means coming up with creative solutions for a wide variety of briefs, in partnership with suppliers, agencies and stakeholders within and outside the Met. You’ll tackle planning, implementation and assessment, while delivering to budgets and deadlines. And of course, you’ll uphold branding and work to our Met guidelines.
An excellent project manager with an organised approach, you’ll thrive on devising great ideas for diverse marketing challenges. You understand integrated communications and how different channels work together. You can also evaluate marketing activity against agreed targets. With the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, you’ll be an asset to our team: able to manage brands, budgets and all sorts of relationships.
