Head of Strategic Communications and Brand

£44,617 - £53,116 per annum

Permanent

Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Unicef UK in a brand new role as Head of Strategic Communications and Brand.

You are an exceptional senior communications professional with significant experience of managing a complex brand and leading the development of organisation-wide marketing communications strategies. You are passionate about using insight to connect audiences with causes through the power of purpose-driven brand communication.

A seasoned influencer, you’ll bring a talent for inspiring teams and aligning them around focused priorities. Reporting to the Communications Director, and working with colleagues across the organisation, your results-driven approach will help Unicef UK to integrate its major brand, fundraising and advocacy objectives through powerful, effective campaigns.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date: 5pm, Monday 26 February 2018.

Interview date: week commencing 5 March 2018.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a Basic Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
