Marketing & Communications Manager (Milton Keynes)

A fantastic opportunity as arisen for a marketing and communications manager to join a large global financial services business based in Milton Keynes. You will be responsible for managing and developing customer literature, ensuring it's in line with the brand, budget and customer journey.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Using knowledge from customer's needs, wants and attitudes and applying this to literature. Able to interpret information gathered and develop basic hypotheses
  • Synthesising information and providing conclusions, recommendations and challenges to the team as well as communicating strategy to the wider team
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Developing and implementing campaigns in a timely fashion
  • Preparing a brief for a defined area ensuring inputs are consistent with agreed objectives and contributing to more complex briefs
  • Challenging whether literature proposals meet briefs through an instinctive understanding and the use of sound rationale
  • Supporting the implementation of a digital solutions for literature
  • Managing third party agencies and other suppliers as required to achieve results according to quality control, timelines and legal and process requirements
  • Securing appropriate internal approvals and effectively managing budgets
  • Ensuring marketing activities are in-line with the brand and improving customer journey
  • Understanding the legal and regulatory framework
  • Adheres to governance processes and approvals, and maintains accurate records when producing financial promotions
  • Assisting in the development and growth of members of the team

Ideal requirements:

  • Strong experience in planning and developing marketing strategies
  • Experience and understanding of marketing, advertising, sales promotion, and retail gained through financial experience
  • Experience in working on multiple projects to tight deadlines
  • Experience in financial services is advantageous
  • Experience in copywriting, digital and print
  • Stakeholder management experience and ability to influence wider teams
  • Experience in budget management
