Key Purpose of Role

Responsible for the planning and buying of OOH solutions for your Agency

Account Managers are integral team members who oversee a number of accounts; planning and buying campaigns for clients/agencies in your team and developing good relationships with media owners.

Account Managers are expected to oversee Account Executives and Junior Executives.

They are expected to collaborate and share learning and experiences with the wider Activation department and to contribute to the company as an active member of the business.

 Overview of Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in promoting the company’s offering to clients and agencies and identify ways of driving more revenue
  • Able to quote planning and buying rates and option and buy campaigns 
  • Can help co-ordinate short-term opportunities and monitor spend commitments with key Media Owners to ensure targets are met.  Help monitor value delivered to agencies
  • Negotiate pricing and book activity with media owners
  • Developing good working relationships with clients
  • Finds new and better ways of servicing clients
  • Effectively delivering competent OOH responses to brief for clients/agencies
  • Present proposals, market updates and inductions to agencies and clients
  • Takes responsibility for resolving any client or campaign issues and escalate appropriately
  • Presents quarterly insights and updates to agencies
  • Undertakes competitive analysis
  • Collates production requirements for the team
  • Prepares post-campaign analysis
  • Update internal databases as required
  • Looks for new ways of improving quality and creativity to the ways of servicing clients/agencies
  • Escalates challenging client issues and team issues appropriately
  • Demonstrates creative solutions through data led planning and driving innovation and technology
  • Keeping abreast of vendor news and forming an opinion

  • Actively works to develop understanding of digital developments through reading, seminars and attending learning, development and training

Although the role would suit someone from an Agency/Specialist background, my client would also be keen to see candidates from an Outdoor Media Owner.
