Commercial Director - Mobile Start-up

London (c£80k plus commission)

Opportunity to join one of the fastest growing startups in the UK, working with leading global brands including eBay, Trivago, Farfetch, Sephora, Match.com and many others, helping them grow their mobile revenue. This ambitious business has identified a number of unique mobile optimisation methodologies, with longterm sustainable growth, and you will be a major driver behind taking this offering to market.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is as fast paced as they come, and requires a strategic thinker with excellent organisational and numerical skills.

You'll need a passion for people, impeccable business acumen and a strong desire work in a rapidly growing global business.

This is an incredible chance to act as the centre of gravity for the entire pitch team. Bringing a fresh and strategic approach to how they best answer clients brief, looking for new ways to solve client problems through specialist expertise and practices..

Other key responsibilities:

  • Lead all commercial strategy within the business
  • Devise new commercial strategies in order to increase revenue from existing clients
  • Work closely with internal teams on supplier contract negotiations
  • Oversee, orchestrate and lead the pitch process from start to finish including management of incoming RFPs and RFIs
  • Manage, coach & develop business development talent where direct reporting relationship exists
  • Be a voice of the business by attending and speaking at selected events

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in a senior commercial position within a mobile performance marketing environment
  • An inspirational leader and a strong team player
  • Experience of supporting global business growth
  • Well-developed analytical, oral and presentation/communication skills
