Graphic Designer - Branding Agency

We are seeking a Designer / Graphic Designer to join a specialist brand identity design group based in Cornbury Park, near Oxford (they are moving to Oxford City Centre in the Summer).

Founded in 1995, this established design / branding agency work with businesses large and small in producing identities, logos, branding guidelines, brochures and a variety of different print items from display materials through to websites. Working from their beautifully converted barn in rural Oxfordshire you will join a small team (two Partners and a Studio Manager) as Designer / Graphic Designer or Artworker, with an eye for design, assisting the production process (it would be a bonus if you knew basic HTML).

As a Designer / Graphic Designer with bucket loads of potential you should be a highly creative bright spark that can grow and be nurtured. We must be able to see your potential, your portfolio will need to demonstrate strong graphic design, digital design, artworking and traditional illustration skills, but most importantly it will give glimpses of your future brilliance.

Collaborating internally with the creative team (and externally with web developers, marketing specialists and copywriters) you will support the Creative Director on design projects. Whether you are brainstorming branding concepts, or converting mock-ups into final printable files, you will use your natural enthusiasm to bring ideas to life.

To qualify... You should be a Designer / Graphic Designer / Creative Designer / Artworker / Creative Artworker with a CV and portfolio that highlights the following:

  • A natural ability to combine creative flair with plenty of ideas;
  • First class Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator skills;
  • Knowledge of artworking and traditional print production;
  • An appreciation of HTML and designing for the web;
  • A degree in design or equivalent commercial experience;
  • An excellent design portfolio (Digital, Print);
  • A strong desire to learn and develop.

In return expect a small and friendly creative agency offering a competitive salary, a glorious location (own transport would be essential) and the chance to play an integral role on high end design projects.
