SPONSORSHIP EXECUTIVE – BROADCASTER – to 40K BASIC PLUS BONUS

The role is to support the UK Commercial Development team in driving incremental revenue both directly with media agencies and via the Advertising Sales Representatives

This is a creative sales role focusing on partnerships and sponsorship for an international US broadcaster based in central London.

It would suit an executive with about 3 years consumer sales experience that has good sales training and now ready for a major career boost and challenge making full use of your contacts and media sales experience. Experience at an ad agency in creative solutions/partnerships and planning and buying is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with internal departments including Marketing, Creative, Insight, Programming, Inventory Management and Compliance to deliver sponsorship campaigns on time
  • Managing key relationships with clients and media agencies in the execution of campaigns to deliver excellent client service at all stages
  • Take responsibility for managing and closing small deals whilst supporting the Manager and Directors on larger deals by writing proposals and responding to briefs
  • Consider the pipeline of business, building and managing effective relationships through to progressing deals
  • Creation and maintenance of Brand Partnerships sponsorship opportunity flyers. This involves liaising with other departments to collate all relevant information, briefing and managing creative
  • Reporting and data input including campaign delivery estimates, monthly reviews and post campaign analysis
  • Help maintain relationships with all major agencies and build new and existing client contacts within allocated portfolio of agencies
  • Build strong inter-departmental relationships throughout.
  • Attend internal meetings, training and presentations and where appropriate, industry events & seminars, and provide written feedback for the team
  • Holiday cover and back up on pitches and active campaigns for Brand Partnerships Manager and Directors
  • Share market/client information internally to help the development of future business

Skills:

  • Have experience in Media or broadcast creative ad sales working with Media Agencies, Client-side or for a media owner
