We're looking for a Digital Business Director to run digital planning and implementation/activation for one of the globe's most influential sports brands. The client is one of the big 4 players in the sports sector and provide some of the best apparel money can buy and partner with only the best sports stars from across the world.
Working out of a specialist unit, designed to partner with this client, the agency has their own unique culture. They have a feel of real independence but have the large scale backing of the agencies global hub based in London. They have quite a tight team structure, who like working together and have created a fantastic relationship with the client.
Now, the core of the role is based on five key areas. Strategic digital planning & execution, programmatic & adaptive media, data analysis & campaign management, account management and leadership of a brilliant team.
The team handle the planning, activation, reporting and analysis across Europe for this brand and you'll be leading this division, using your expert knowledge of how these parts of the campaign work. As you would expect for a large sports client, it's not all brand work, there are performance objectives too, you'll build a campaign strategy that can feature both these approaches.
Fundamentally, you've got to be strategic and work closely on innovation and strategy with the comms planning teams to help build out the digital roadmap. You've got to love sport and buy into the brand in order to help build the future for them.
