Training Manager- Digital Marketing/Ecommerce
NEW JOB- Training Manager is needed to take responsibility for designing and managing all aspects of our clients Public Training courses. These consist of 40+ face-to-face training workshops with expert trainers, plus repeats through the year (c. 150 in total) focusing on providing participants with high quality training in a wide range of marketing/digital marketing skills.
Our client is an online resource providing trends, data, insight, training, inspiration, case studies and 'how to guides' for brands and agencies to achieve digital excellence based in Central London.
The Training Manager is the key person in ensuring the absolute quality of the training itself, and the attendees' training experience - from enquiry, to booking, to communication, the training itself, and follow-up.
Training of this sort is highly competitive now, and there are challenging targets to hit in bookings (revenue, margin). The Training Manager must keep on top of this, proactively managing and reporting Public Training performance. The Training Manager is supported by a Training Exec, who will handle all day to day logistics, admin, etc.
Key responsibilities include:
* Strategy and planning
o What we train, who we train, when we train, where we train
o Defining the competitive offer
o Designing courses, identifying topics & trends
o Forecasting, pricing, costs & revenue/margin
o Financial measurement, reporting
* Sales & Marketing
o Working closely with Marketing and Sales teams to feed the pipeline & convert enquiries into sales
o Sales - outbound & inbound prospects & enquiries (in close collaboration with Econ Sales teams etc.)
o Handling cross-selling & upselling opportunities
o Identifying the best trainers and building strong ongoing relationships
o Developing training content to deliver against identified topics (in close collaboration with trainers and experts)
o Designing all training materials, collateral, supporting assets
o Walking all attendees through the training journey
o Managing all ongoing comms, from booking confirmation, to instructions, to enquiries, to feedback
o Helping turn every trainee into a loyalist and advocate for our client
o Overseeing the management of all logistics incl. venues, materials, instructions, issues, etc
