THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading leisure and tourist attraction, whilst also acting as a research and education institution, based in beautiful surroundings in London.

THE ROLE
This Head of Sales & Marketing role is pivotal to driving future revenue for this world-leading destination. Leading the sales and marketing teams in the delivery of the brand and overall organisational mission, with accountability for the delivery of key visitor number and revenue targets and driving the development of the strategic 5 years marketing plan.

Reporting into the Director of Marketing & Commercial Enterprise this role has three main areas of responsibility: generating visitor footfall, campaign and digital planning and business/revenue modelling.

Responsibilities also include:

- Leading the development of marketing metrics for the business plan which includes the annual development of visitor numbers and income, strategic and tactical pricing strategy and budget forecasting
- Setting and achieving visitor numbers and income budgets for all onsite exhibitions, events and festivals
- Driving central campaign planning and orchestration for all marketing activities related to admissions volume and income across media buying, BTL communications, travel trade and sales promotions
- Leading the market research programme ensuring the collection of actionable insight through the on-going research programme
- Championing the importance of sales and marketing across the organisation
- Managing a team of 4 direct reports and 6 indirect reports

YOU
To be considered for this Head of Sales & Marketing role you will have considerable stakeholder management experience and influencing skills as well as:
- Significant experience in a B2C marketing position at a management level
- Campaign planning experience across the marketing communications mix using ATL and BTL channels to achieve results
- Experience of driving footfall to a destination/visitor attraction, generating revenue whilst ensuring a positive customer experience
- Experience of managing a market research programme including briefing agencies and interpreting outcomes for the business
- Previous budget management and team management experience
- Experience of balancing commercial success and cause messaging in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
