We're looking for a Graphic Designer to join an agency based in Surrey. They work across a variety of projects including digital campaigns, communication and events.

The Graphic Designer will be working collaboratively with the integrated service teams, clients and third-party suppliers to direct the creative output, from concept generation through to design completion. You will be involved in the development of high-level concepts for all event and communications projects.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Ensure brand consistency and messaging across all meeting materials and internal documentation
  • Manage and deliver upon multiple priority briefs
  • Create, design and layout multiple concepts for an event or campaign
  • Support internal logistic project teams meeting design requirements and ensure regular update meetings are held prior to, during, and post the project completion
  • Keep up to date with new creative treatments and design ideas
  • Liaise and manage accordingly with all sub-contract /freelance support
  • Liaise and manage preferred print production partners
  • Provide weekly status reports on workload and availability
  • Attend training days and company days as required
  • Support creative sessions for client pitches, projects and proposals
  • Support Creative Lead on the delivery of multiple priority briefs
  • Design concepts that meet the client's business objectives and that advance our brand strategy
  • Inform and liaise with the integrated services project teams and ensure regular update meetings are held prior to, during, and post the project completion

Key attributes:

  • Team player with a "can-do" attitude
  • Very advanced level of skills and knowledge within Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of design tools/software
  • Full understanding of the print production process
  • Print and digital design: proven experience within a studio/team environment
  • Ability to support projects from concept to completion
  • Apply best practices in user interface and interactive design
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to organise, prioritise, and scheduling work assignments

Key skills:

  • Ideally have an undergraduate degree in design, art or other related, equivalent creative disciplines
  • Have visual design and management experience, a minimum of 4 yrs gained in an agency environment
  • Proven ability in brand development across multiple sectors/industries
  • Experience of working with global brands in both the b2b and/or b2c space
  • Experience of large-scale creative projects that have a 'multi-channel' impact
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of physical & digital communications and delivery systems, processes and user-interface design as well as industry best practices
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphics fundamentals, typography & limitations of both physical and digital environments
  • Must have the ability to storyboard or translate big ideas into concepts clients can understand
  • A strong working knowledge of experiential design and brand development
  • Knowledge of print and digital design: must know how to work in both media for integrated events/campaigns
  • Apply best practices in user interface and interactive design
