Associate Director - Communications (Lifestyle brand)
Our client, a leading sports, entertainment and lifestyle communications agency, is looking for an Associate Director to lead on a prestigious brand operating in the men’s grooming sector. Although the business in question is an established brand with a large market share, the competitive environment is changing, and this is driving a change in the way they market their products. Our client wants a candidate who has big brand experience but can behave like they are working on a challenger brand. A candidate who may be FMCG trained with all the rigour and professionalism that involves but also be prepared to take risks, push the boundaries, be edgy, be hungry and plug in to a youth market with ease. The successful candidate will have significant experience working in and around e-commerce. Experience working for retail brands that have a presence on-line will be a distinct advantage. The key here is providing creative solutions that can work in traditional earned media channels but also work in store and on-line. Knowledge of influencer and pier to pier marketing is particularly important. Leading a team of 5 you are natural leader with strategic capability but not too far removed from the job of running campaigns.
