Multi award-winning Central London agency seeks a Senior Account Manager to work on a new win, automotive account.

The CRM landscape is changing with technology and digital being core drivers in understanding consumer behaviour – they fully comprehend the opportunity that this offers, and again look to the agency as the experts to help them along the way.

The agency’s main role is to provide marketing and data strategy, creative and implementation for their CRM programme, working closely with the ATL agency, the media agency and the database agency.

The role reports directly to an Account Director and you will have line management of one Account Manager.

What type of work do they deliver?

  • Customer journey planning and CRM solutions
  • Data strategy
  • Email, DM and SMS comms
  • Creative work along the entire consumer journey – ranging from big conceptual briefs, to more executional briefs covering newsletters and established programmes

Reporting and context

This is a key hire for the team and the opportunity is to lead on the more complex CRM communications as well as work closely with the other key agencies on large and small planning projects.

This means the successful Senior Account Manager will be someone who is comfortable talking at that level about strategy using data insights and research as they are discussing direct mail and e-CRM.

On top of that you need to be someone who’s intelligent, has strength of character, is resilient, proactive and likeable.

The Senior Account Manager will need to be the voice of CRM at this wider table and offer guidance and support to the Account Manager underneath them.

The role and what’s required to do it well

The role will suit an experienced Senior Account Manager looking for a new and exciting challenge.

You must have proven direct and digital marketing experience and enjoy working in a high paced and energetic environment. An avid interest in cars is not essential but preferred.
