This is an incredible opportunity to join a well established business in Bath as their new Marketing Manager. This is a SaaS business with a great product; you will be joining them at an exciting time as they push on to their next stage of growth. Supporting sales you will take on an inbound marketing approach, creating solid content across a number of channels, positioning the business to prospective clients, generating new business leads and implementing regular marketing campaigns.

What you'll be doing

This is a broad role that spans the entire marketing mix. As the business continues on its growth path, you will play an integral part by raising brand awareness and communicating regularly with prospective clients until they become a Marketing Qualified Lead. You will utilise a range of tools during this role; the Salesforce CRM, marketing automation tools, the Wordpress CMS, Google Analytics, and many more.

Content creation is vital to this role, and you will be a strong copywriter with the ability to write across a range of platforms such as web, blogs, whitepapers, social, press releases and producing relevant printed collateral. You will generate leads by optimising lead generation, nurturing, and scoring, and will run effective email campaigns to support this, utilising A/B testing and regular optimisation.

This is not solely focused on the UK market, as there is good traction across the US and Europe. You will further develop the social media following, support events, and be confident reviewing and analysing data to support strategic decisions.

This is a role that you can really make your own, and as the team grows over the next 12 months, you will help recruit other positions to support you within the marketing team.

What experience you'll need to apply
  • Previous experience within a B2B lead gen environment
  • Strong copywriting skills, ideally across digital and offline
  • Good digital marketing experience
  • Analytical, able to use tools to generate weekly reports
  • Ideally have experience working with a tech related product
  • An understanding of marketing automation tools
