UK insight manager | International Retailer - setting up an insight team | London | £40k plus benefits.

Do you want to set up an insight team? Are you looking for more freedom where you can really make your mark, leading and shaping the insight agenda and ensuring the customer is in the board room?

The client: 

We're working with an international retailer who operate in over 40 markets around the world, a brand who have shown 5% YoY growth in an exceptionally tough market place. They have over 2,500 stores in the UK and are at a stage in their lifecycle where they need to bring in an insight manager - a role the MD has identified for the UK business, to help understand their customers, competitors and market. They need this person to help the business through their next phase of growth.

The role:

This is a great opportunity where you will have a lot of freedom to lead and shape the customer insight agenda. You'll be the one to bring in and manage the relevant research suppliers, manage the budget and be hands on with insight projects. It's a fast paced, challenging environment where no two days are the same. You'll be expected to help bring to life the customer, you'll work with the MD to explain the current consumer climate, produce trend reports & put in place marketing and forecasting processes.

Skills:

2 years plus insight experience
You must have experience working client-side in an insight role
Retail experience
Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
A confident communicator and presenter
