Account Manager – Beauty/Retail
We are recruiting for an Account Manager for a leading integrated agency based in Central London. The role will be on a retail account, specifically on the beauty side of the account. Knowing your highlighter from your primer is key. This is an extremely fast-moving account therefore someone who can embrace agile and reactive work.
We are seeking an outstanding and knowledgeable Account Manager with specific CRM experience but will be expected to support on more integrated campaigns too. An appreciation for Direct Marketing is key but the overall position is much more integrated.
- Build client trust as the day to day lead who fully knows their business
- Be a strong operational thinker and occasional strategic thinker to ensure best ideas and best delivery
- Understand the essential dynamics, strategies and drivers of the client’s business
- Believes in delivering the best and in doing so develop their knowledge and ability
- Has a tremendously organised mind knowing everything that is going on with their key clients
- Ensure adherence to all agreed processes and deliverables and look to continued improvement
- Financial management of the projects you’re running
- Understands the importance of having solid reporting/coordination tools e.g. status reports
- Overall, believes in over sharing – a strong team mentality
- Generates an atmosphere and working environment which makes people want to work on the account
- Have high standards with a passion for the detail as well as the bigger picture and understands the importance of both
- Demonstrates good all-round skills that can be called upon to “fill in” for any member of the team
