Brand Marketing Manager - Automotive Sector

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum

My client is a leading international supplier to the automotive sector, operating in over 50 countries.

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Vehicle Tyre Brand Manager, responsible for implementing marketing, brand, product and communication strategy for all tyre brands and products, including digital solutions to maximise profit opportunities and competitive advantage.

About the role:

  • Working closely with the Truck Marketing Team to develop UK and Ireland marketing and product strategy.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for product management.
  • Working closely with PR agencies and Communications team to ensure optimum representation of the brand.
  • Developing and managing targeted advertising plans across relevant automotive industry media.
  • Developing and managing social media content strategy for tyre products and services.
  • Developing sales promotions, direct marketing campaigns etc. to support new product launches, sales growth and brand awareness.
  • Optimising and maintaining content on own digital communications platforms (intranet, internet, newsletters, etc.).
  • Monitoring ROI on brands, channels and key customers.
  • Ensuring effective product launches, providing relevant training to key market sectors and internally to staff.
  • Developing and implementing the annual programme of customer and industry events alongside the events manager.
  • Responsibility for personnel within the CVT marketing department, overseeing career development, succession, planning, training and motivation.
  • Planning, controlling and managing CVT marketing investments in conjunction with commercial marketing managers.
  • Representing the UK and ROI in all relevant EMEA marketing and brand management meetings.

About you:

  • Professionally trained in a marketing related field (CIM, Marketing Degree or similar).
  • 5 years or more of marketing experience, including agency management and product based marketing experience.
  • 3-5 years line management experience.
  • B2B marketing experience.
  • Detailed understanding of the full marketing mix, current trends and best practices.
  • Experienced in devising targeted campaigns to engage, inform and motivate.
  • Able to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer empathy with an innovative and proactive approach.
