The business is already doing very nicely. However to scale and really broaden what they do, they need someone proven in a senior agency role who can take a broad, strategic view on client management and solution delivery.
They've got the engine room right - a loyal group who are resourceful, can get stuff done and apply this to pretty much any channel.
What you'll do is bring a track record in holding senior agency roles, probably in client services.
This isn't about getting into the detail it's about orchestrating things, being a control centre, a focal point for everything. As the group account director knowing what should be done/when, where, why and how.
To make the difference needed in this role you must bring with you a proven, recent pedigree in a senior marketing agency client service role.
As the group account director, you must be digitally savvy and understand how mobile, social ,search, paid media and content interlink with more traditional channels.
Also, as the group account director you'll have a magnetic personality, love developing real talent and longer term want to have some skin in the game/equity in a fun and progressive business.
