This role is with one of the largest retailers globally who are looking for an Analytics Manager to join and help guide the media communications function of their insight team. With an almost 100 year legacy, they've cemented themselves as a leader in retail and are now continuing to look for ways to become every customer's preferred place to shop. They want to find greater ways of targeting their customers through marketing campaigns and communication development and need someone with media mix or marketing modelling experience to guide this.
The role is a diverse one, it works across different areas of the marketing/media function. You will be responsible for forecasting the impact that marketing (both brand and communication) activities will have on commercial performance, through using media, consumer and performance data. You'll also be responsible for the media evaluation budget. The role also requires a confident presenter, as you will regularly present post campaign reviews to senior stakeholders in the business. You will need to have an understanding of how communications can impact brand image and sales potentials.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in media mix / marketing modelling
- Experience working with FMCG / Retail clients
- Understanding of different marketing channels and experience in media effectiveness
- Able to influence senior stakeholders on key business decisions
- Excellent communication skills and strong presenting skills
