We have been asked by a leading, multi-award winning Marketing and Media company focused within the healthcare profession to find a Business Development Manager for two of their  flagship titles. They are  the biggest healthcare publisher in the  UK. and work with well respected products in the market across online, print and events. They have been at the centre of healthcare professionals for over 25 years and due to an expansion they require a new Business Development Manager..

The role:

As the Business Development Manager you will be expected to drive advertising into these leading flagship brands primarily within the print and online media. Using their client base, you will be working to provide companies targeting General Practitioners and G.P. Nurses.

You will maintain the existing relationships with existing clients as well as to drive new business though their knowledge and expertise within the market place. Although you will report to the sales manager, the role will have a lot of autonomy for individuals to bring innovative and creative ideas to drive new business.

Key Skills/Experience

  • Ideally educated to Degree level
  • 4 or more  years experience within a Sales Environment (ideally within media but not essential)
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience of using CRM systems (Salesforce etc.)
  • Driven and Ambitious to succeed
