Social Listening Manager | Clientside | Retail | £40-45k

One of the UK's leading retailers are looking for a Social Listening Manager to lead on all social media measurement and help them optimise their social media campaigns and strategies. Due to the size of the company and their position in the market, their marketing & social media content is extremely important to them, and this role will have a key part to play in this.

The role:

The role is diverse and sits within the content and social team, you will also work alongside other teams such as technology, online and marketing, as well as external platform partners. You will lead on all social measurement for the content team which will drive decision making at a strategic level. This will be done through analysing and evaluating campaigns on their performance and working closely with partners to help optimise content communications. Other responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring and supporting juniors
  • Advising on content strategy across different channels (both online & offline)
  • Work closely with the insight team to ensure that social intelligence findings are being used efficiently and also increasing the usage of these findings across the business

Required skills / Experience:

  • Experience working in content production across a range of channels, social media in particular
  • A previous role as a social media analyst or content analyst would be highly beneficial, you must be able to spot trends and themes from both Quant & Qual data
  • Strong Excel skills is essential, other social listening tools are open
  • Understanding of consumer behaviours in a retail environment and how the industry is shifting
  • Sociable, well-organised, able to build relationships with stakeholders (internal & external)
