A well known FMCG food manufacturer is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to help develop the brand recognition and development of a couple of it key products. You will be working with the senior brand manager to help develop the brand across multiple touchpoints and SKUs.

The role

A well known FMCG food manufacturer is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to help develop the brand recognition and development of a couple of it key products. You will be working with the senior brand manager to help develop the brand across multiple touchpoints and SKUs.

You will be helping to develop the brand strategy for the brands and then with the help of multiple stakeholders helping to bring the strategy to life. The strategy will be developed using key customer insights and use data from a variety of sources.

You will be briefing and managing the agencies and work in partnership with them to help develop the ATL and BTL brand campaigns using a range of channels. There will also be activity on the digital advertising using a range of techniques to amplify the brand voice online.

You will also help with the NPD using the brand guidelines to help shape, develop and launch new variations on the brand. The variations could be major new SKUs for the company, so this will be an important part of the role.

The person

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following skills:

  • Good brand management experience from an FMCG brand
  • Ability to deliver both proactive and reactive marketing support
  • Experience of implementing a complex marketing strategy
  • Experience of managing and working with external agencies
  • Experience of insight panels and data
  • Excellent verbal and numerical skills
  • Good Microsoft Office experience
  • The ability to deal with multiple stakeholders.
